No amount of warning, education or speculation can prepare you for the unexpected from your 9 year daughter.
Naive your's truly asked her what lesbians (as she had mentioned the word in her current little ditty).
Her response: "Mummy lesbian are girls who are married together." Like Kicking and Screaming - thanks Will Farell.
Kids are very matter of fact. My heart rate is still zipping around like a bee but hers has well and truly moved on.
